Our Vision
It is our truest belief that music can support young people in finding their identity; stepping out from simply playing music, to developing an artistry from within. We are here to encourage gifted young artists as they learn to make musical expression part of their daily lives while also developing their technique and discipline. One of the missions of our organization is to help advanced students of violin and cello within the community, those who may not have access to private instruction. We look forward to the opportunity to work with them as we develop a strong foundation of technique and virtuosity in their applied instrument. Performances are an important part of our work, and our conservatory will provide students and the community with fine, quality performances, student recitals and imaginative workshops while we welcome well-known string artists from around the world. Because our formative years in music making were spent abroad, we also wish to give our students the same kind of worldview exposure by supporting our students through study-abroad opportunities while preparing them for international and domestic music competitions and auditions.
At the heart of our mission, we want to nurture both the young musician and also the music yet played. With thoughtful instruction and support, we will journey together through practicing, techniques, recitals, auditions, competitions & performances. Giving to Park Na Conservatory advances the next generation of celebrated artists. Merit based entry, and our remarkable full-tuition scholarship policy means placements are based on artistic promise alone. Without tuition revenue, we look to our generous and arts-minded donors to advance our dream within the community of Northwest Arkansas as we bring forth the highest level instruction and classical entertainment to your front door. A donation in any amount will help provide world-class training to area youth. Let’s make Northwest Arkansas sing!
